These have increased demand for participation, changing student's and lecturer's characteristics and aspirations. Class fees must still be paid and will then be refunded in the event of a bursary being awarded. EWC is pleased to invite all suitably qualified and reputable prospective service providers and suppliers to apply for registration on the EWC database. This comes in the wake of the murders of several women and children in the country in recent weeks. The twenty-one-year-old's climb to the prestigious seat marked an end to the customary male domination in the history of the College since its merger in 2003, to make her the first female Executive SRC President. Ekurhuleni West TVET College is known for its progressive transformation in terms of woman empowerment, as three out of four Executive Managers are women. The Deputy President has called on companies across all sectors of the economy to adopt a Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) college to help with skills development and job creation. The ReadytoWork programme is an Absa Corporate Social Investment project aimed at equipping young people with the skills required to transit from a world of education into a world of work. The programme focuses on the four key areas of people skills, work skills, money skills and entrepreneurship skills. Students can work through the online programme at their own pace, or as part of a more structured programme, supported by trained facilitators and additional resources. The components comprised the wherewithal to build a car with the exclusion of the body. The majority of the components came from their subsidiary car parts company, Mopar.
