Former Eqstra CEO, Jannie Serfontein will assume the role of enX's CEO with Gary Neubert, (CEO of Industrial Equipment) and Jacqui Carr, (CEO of Eqstra Fleet Management) continuing to oversee their respective businesses and management teams alongside enX's existing Fuel and Chemicals business. Most importantly, irrespective of ownership, our business values remain firmly in place, as does our long-standing commitment to partnering with customers. We provide further value-added services to our clients in the passenger and commercial vehicle market, industrial equipment and mining sectors in Africa and Europe. Eqstra’s 2020 strategy is driving the company’s transition to an asset-light and diversified services business model which will significantly improve profitability, cash flow and rebalance the capital structure. This is a critical step in the evolution of our business model, ensuring Eqstra’s success into the future. The company’s two most significant divisional profit contributors, the Industrial Equipment and Fleet Management & Logistics divisions each hold a leadership position in the industry in terms of their asset base and service offering. They have a commanding market share in most of their product areas and this drives earnings visibility through annuity-like recurring revenues for the businesses. The medium to long term effects of Eqstra’s 2020 strategy will provide for a healthy expansion of this core business. Eqstra’s Contract Mining and Plant Rental division, is benefitting from new contract wins in a currently challenging commodities environment whilst mining companies reduce capex and equipment. The division has successfully reduced its asset base to 28% of the company’s revenue generating assets whilst improving earnings.
